KimKim, a company that connects travelers with in-destination specialists, has launched a travel advisor platform kimkim.com/travel-advisors connecting advisors with destination management companies and other local specialists.

On the platform, advisors have access to KimKim's network of local specialists, which it has been curating for 10 years.

It also includes client communication and trip-management tools as well as commission. In celebration of its launch, KimKim is paying advisors an additional 5% commission on all bookings made through Dec. 31.

Advisors can register for free. A series of informational webinars will be held in November and December. Fam trip giveaways will be held in the first quarter in conjunction with Wave season.

KimKim COO Yenyi Fu called the platform "a new, and frankly better, standard for how advisors, specialists and travelers collaborate."

Fu also said the company is "excited to focus on long-term relationships with advisors who are passionate about curating extraordinary travel experiences."

Advisors have tested the platform. Jennie Jensen, owner of Monterra Travel in Boise, Idaho, and Erika Forst-Rurka, owner of Time4U2Pack  in Simsbury, Conn., praised the local specialists they worked with on the platform.

"The itineraries are clearly detailed and the customer service and support are immediate, making my travelers feel well taken care of," Jensen said.
